Security and current limitations

How the live eml-pdf.com service handles files and what has been confirmed.

Transfer and storage

Files are transferred over HTTPS and processed on the server.

Default AES256 encryption has been confirmed in the live object storage.
This is not an audit of the entire infrastructure or a guarantee that every kind of correspondence can be handled safely.

A separate worker parses email.

HTML is sanitized, JavaScript is disabled, images from the internet are downloaded and embedded into the PDF, and other remote requests are blocked.
File-size and ZIP-expansion limits apply.
Attachments are not executed; the service does not use AI.

Source files are deleted after successful packaging.

Access to results expires one hour after completion or sooner when you select Delete.
Cleanup runs every five minutes and retries storage failures.
Access expiry does not mean immediate physical deletion of all data.
Technical account and job records may be retained longer.

Russian and English versions currently share the same server infrastructure; language selection does not determine the processing country.

Infrastructure providers, storage countries and administrator access locations have not yet been published and require operator confirmation.
We cannot currently promise a specific data location or the absence of cross-border processing.
Until these details are confirmed, do not upload data that requires a particular processing location.

Credit packages are paid by card through Robokassa; a receipt is issued after the payment is confirmed, where required by local law.

A verified recovery time and continuous availability guarantee have not been established.
Download results before the one-hour expiry and retain your own source export.
